10 Things You Should Know About Your Tarot Reader - Week 4

Here we are, a month into the series of things you should know about your tarot reader. These are good things for you to be aware of so that you know if it will be a good fit! Read on for question #4....

Q4: Is there anything you can't predict?

Given that I am fairly clear about the fact that I am not psychic - and therefore do not predict anything to begin with, this is a loaded question. I DO have some gifts that allow me to see things, but they are unreliable and therefore I do not advertise them as a general rule.

What I do instead is I tell you what I see, and offer advice on what you should do - but at the end of the day you are ultimately in charge of what happens.  There are however TWO exceptions (if you want to call them that) to my "rule".

1. TIMING: I can and often do work with issues of timing. While they are not 100%, they are generally pretty close. For example if you asked me "if I do this when can I expect a result?" instead of telling you "December 3rd" I may instead tell you early winter...
2. LENORMAND: Lenormand is a different system then tarot, and therefore is read much differently. In readings where I use these cards my answers are much more black and white.

There is actually another reason why I say that I do not predict - in many places here in the United States there are still anti-fortune telling laws on the books. Laws that make it illegal to say or claim certain things. That is why every reading I do includes a disclaimer that all reading are for entertainment purposes. It helps keep me on the right side of the law!

Join me next week when I talk about the tools that I use for my readings. Remember that this list of 10 questions is by no means all there is to me - if you have a question that you think should be answered that hasn't been drop it in the comments below!
