Painting Prompts Poetry

Art fan writes a poem based on one of my watercolors....

Watercolor Curtains
The one, the all of you
tissue is a sad friend
next to an uneaten meal
a cold drink, ice melting
love, my only hunger
I grew accustomed to
your hands touching me
smooth skin felt every callous
a daydream remembers
how it used to be
Rainy days and movies
miss you the most
a bottle of wine is
meant to share two glasses
your and mine
Alone is still exposed
to need, wanting arms
grow stronger to hold desire
once again, never letting
go of finding another
Watercolors merge
into a delicate balance
waiting the moon to
signal another restless
night without you
Past lovers can still
comfort me, for a
shadows bliss lingers
until I open my eyes
look toward the empty door
