The Very Real Struggle of College

"You're going to regret it" , "Don't you think you are being a little ambitious?" and "I think you bit off more then you can chew".

These were all things that I heard in August as I sat at my desk, surrounded by school schedules and blog schedules. My husband meant well, but I was determined. I could have my cake and eat it to - this was going to be my most successful year ever with Red Dragon Apothocary.

But you know what they say about good intentions....
At first I was trucking right along, not a care in the world. I was maintaining three websites, doing tarot readings, keeping up with ALL of my blogs and with my schoolwork. But then the most unexpected thing happened. Well, unexpected for me anyways.

Suddenly I was buried under homework and the stress of having three daily blogs was really wearing me down. So I started making cuts. First to go was the Red Dragon Candle Shop blog. To be fair, I was a little nuts to think that I could come up with something candle related every day. School continued to whip my butt, so we cut back on the blogs for the other two sites - I figured as long as I posted a couple times a week I would be good. What an idiot I was!

This has been the most challenging semester for me, and it still isn't over. I plan to spend the holiday break getting all my sales sorted out, new product added and blogs updated. But what about next semester? It looks like it will be every bit as challenging as this one. I can only promise to do my best to keep Red Dragon Apothocary firing on all cylinders come hell or high water. So mote it be.
