I especially liked the way the artist often "outlined" his sketches with a watercolor border. |
You can move through this exhibit fairly quickly. I am not sure if the rotunda is a hexagon, but I think there are about 6 walls worth of these framed watercolors. Each one is lovely. |
Did you recognize me? Here I am in my summer uniform of lace shorts and a Mexican peasant blouse. I wear the same outfit in my studio and just throw an apron on top. (see blog post: Apron Avant Garde) My daughter and I had to be very sneaky about taking pictures in the museum. Some exhibits they let you, but most they don't. That's one of my own handbags too. |
