Weekly Drawing 6/17/15

For those who are new to the weekly drawing we present you with three cards, face down and numbered. We ask that you choose the one the calls to you and we give you a snapshot of that card. Intrigued? Wanna give it a try?
Card #1 is the 2 of Wands. Here we see a pair of wands, topped with crystals and a pair of boxes suspended between. It should be noticed almost immediately that there are two boxes, yet only a single key! The world is your oyster and there are all kinds of possibilities. But which to choose? Most people would say they want it all and they would try to open both boxes. Really examine your choices though and think about what you really want. Pick a box and enjoy the experience!

Card #2 is the Devil. Uh, oh - scary dude, right? Well - maybe, maybe not. Is it any wonder that the devil here is represented by a young virile male figure. The Devil is meant to be appealing... how else can he get what he wants? I mean, would you listen to him if he were a fat balding man with a beer belly and scruffy beard? Here we see the Fool at his feet, seemingly held captive. Closer inspection though shows us that his bonds may not be as tight as first presented. He has the power to break free from the bondage of the situation he is in, if only he has the courage. Note the astrological symbols on the pillars? These are the sign of Capricorn, which reminds us to be ruled by self reliance and not let ourselves be controlled. Be the master of your own destiny.

Card #3 is the 4 of Wands. We see 4 wands in a green meadow, surrounded by trees, a stream and a rainbow. The sun shines down through the clouds and is focused on the crystals at the top of each wand. Just below the ground we see darkness, fire and brimstone. Despite the dark look to the bottom half of this card, it is actually one of the most positive cards in the deck. It is about celebration, happiness and beauty. But what about the fire and brimstone? Ah, yes... It reminds us of the need for BALANCE in all things. There cannot be light without the dark.  The positioning of the wands at equal intervals heralds stability, further enforced by the wands anchored in the bedrock. Those who chose this card can expect some sort of significant milestone to occur very soon!

Join us next week when we pull more cards and explore their meanings.
