Paris has some of the best art exhibits and fashion hot spots the world has to offer. Make sure you don't miss these five incredible places!

 1) The Louvre Museum
Entrance to the Lourve is designed by architect I.M Pei
This famous museum houses the Mona Lisa, Monet's Waterlilies, and artwork from many diverse cultures like Islamic, Italian, British, and of course French. To avoid long lines, visit on a weekday and get there as close to 9:00, the opening time, as possible.

  2) The Marais
Romantic rain swept streets of Paris
The Marais quarter is the perfect shopping destination for art and fashion lovers. You can find hand crafted and antique jewelry on the Rue des Francs-Bourgeois, shop for fine art in Place des Vosqes, or visit the Rue des Rosiers and score unique pieces by up and coming designers.

3) Musée d'Orsay
Musee d Orsay was once a train station and is now home to the most significant collection of impressionist art in Paris
This museum has French art dating from 1848 to 1915. You can see all kinds of art, from painting and sculptures to furniture and photography. This museum is home to famous impressionist works by artists like Monet, Manet, Degas, Renoir, Cézanne, Seurat, Sisley, Gauguin and Van Gogh.

4) Avenue Montaigne and Avenue des Champs-Elysées
Champs-Elysée
For the best designer shopping experience, you can't miss these two Avenues. Montaigne features upscale stores like Chanel and Dior. Champs-Elysées has luxury shops like Louis Vuitton as well as trendy chains like Zara.

5)  Rodin Museum
This museum houses the sculptures, paintings, photographs, and art collections of famous French sculptor Auguste Rodin. The art museum includes well known works of art like The Thinker, The Kiss and The Gates of Hell. The Rodin Museum is also home to paintings by Van Gogh and Renoir, which Rodin collected.
Now is the time to visit the Rodin Museum! Enjoy this gem now through Labor Day (September 5) because on September 6 it will close until late spring 2012 for renovation and reinstallation.
