Adam welcomes Mary Lynn Rajskub to the podcast right at the top of the show. The guys joke around about getting your eyebrows waxed, and then Adam compliments Mary Lynn on her new Amazon pilot, ‘Highston’. Mary Lynn also talks about her experiences doing standup, and Adam takes fan phone calls about toilet paper liners, freeway light signs telling you the time to your location, and which pearls of wisdom Adam hopes that his kids retain.
Jo Koy is in studio next, and Adam asks him about the process of building his standup act. Jo then comes clean about a sweatshirt that he owes Gina. Gina begins the news discussing the retirement of Kobe Bryant. They also discuss Sinead O’Connor’s recovery after a suicide attempt, Ted Cruz’s presidential campaign, and Slash joining the USC marching band for the National Anthem. Later, Gina talks about the record-shattering debut of the new Adele album, and Jo recalls the time he saw Celine Dion in Las Vegas. As the show wraps up, the guys talk about the results of Black Friday, and the meaning of the holiday season.
