Adam opens the show with comedian John DiResta in studio. Adam rants more about his first class lounge experience in New York, and how you know a fruit is terrible. Adam then takes a call from this week’s Lord of the Jungle winner. John has several news stories with him, so for the next segment the guys chat with him about ‘DiResta The Story”.
Phil Rosenthal is in studio next, and Adam chats with him about his doc ‘Exporting Raymond’, and how difficult it was getting ‘Everybody Loves Raymond’ adapted for a Russian audience. The guys then discuss the perfect slice of NY Pizza, and make fun of how August destroyed his own slice. Adam also discusses his conversation with Ralph Nader that will be on an upcoming episode of Take A Knee. Later, Gina reads news stories about Caitlyn Jenner’s car accident, a guy suing ESPN for making fun of him for sleeping during a baseball game, and Honey BooBoo’s foray into music. In the last part of the show, Gina reads a few more stories about the latest in the Fast and Furious franchise, the Pope’s secret meeting with Kim Davis, and the first woman set to be executed in 70 years.
